Acquisition of Innovative VNA and Software Post-Processing Company Completed

Toshiba will leverage Olea Medical SA (La Ciotat, France) advanced post-processing and image analysis software technology, and it’s close contact with key international research institutions, and customers. Olea Medical also offers vendor-neutral post-processing software applications for use with Computed Tomography (CT) imaging.

Toshiba Medical Systems is a leading worldwide provider of medical diagnostic imaging systems and comprehensive medical solutions, including CT, X-Ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI systems, and medical information systems. The acquisition will enable Toshiba to provide multimodality solutions, by integrating Olea software with Vital Images; Vitrea enterprise and scanner-connected workstation to improve collaboration standardize workflows, and improve diagnoses. Vital Images is also a subsidiary of Toshiba.
