Debut of an Innovative Ultrasound Platform with a Touch-Screen Control Panel at ECR 2015

Additional features include a sealed panel to facilitate cleaning, etched marking for primary controls to assist the user in locating key functions, secure badge log-on, and a cold boot time of 18 seconds with no need for standby mode or battery backup.

The CARESTREAM Touch Ultrasound system was developed by Carestream (Rochester, NY, USA) and is expected to begin shipping in the 3rd-quarter of 2015.
