Impax for Nuclear Medicine is designed to provide integrated care for the nuclear medicine or molecular imaging department. It provides optimized efficiency, due to a fully automated workflow from order to result. The advanced image processing and speech recognition allow increased clinical throughput. The solution supports improved interdepartmental communication, such as for tumor boards, to increase personalized patient care.

“Integration plays an increasing role in nuclear medicine, with more and more hospitals implementing integrated or combined nuclear medicine systems,” commented Hans Vandewyngaerde, president of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions at Agfa HealthCare. “Impax for Nuclear Medicine delivers all the benefits of integrated care to the nuclear medicine department, while supporting the hospital and caregivers in meeting the future integrated care demands of the patient-centric healthcare model.”
