Bracco Diagnostics, Inc. More...
(BDI; Milan, Italy) has significantly expanded its education portfolio range to diagnostic imaging professionals in the United States. Through a licensing agreement with Philips Medical Systems (Best, The Netherlands), diagnostic professionals are now able to access a vast range of accredited online courses in various specialties, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), cardiac imaging, vascular imaging, ultrasound, and picture archiving communications system (PACS).

The agreement complements BDI's extensive education program, which includes a series of live seminars on clinical and business topics held throughout the United States, as well as published materials available both online and in hard copy format. Diagnostic professionals may access educational resources online by visiting: http://www.bracco.theonlinelearningcenter.com.

Philips' Online Learning Center has been in operation for seven years, serving the online education needs of over 80,000 healthcare professionals with specialized courses approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), for Category A, CE, and other professional organizations. Learn about Philips' education programs by visiting: http://www.medical.philips.com/us/services/education/index.asp.

By visiting the Bracco eLearning Center site, diagnostic professionals are able to select from a range of courses and case histories that were developed by leading experts in various disciplines. Diagnostic professionals may choose to select topics, study, test, and receive certificates, all via the convenience of any internet-enabled computer.

"Bracco Diagnostics, Inc. has long been committed to furthering professional education, in both the clinical and business arenas, throughout the world,” said Pamela Intile, director, customer education, BDI. "This agreement bolsters this effort through partnership with Philips Medical Systems, which has a proven track record of developing innovative resources that cover important topics to meet the evolving needs of the imaging market.”

"This agreement furthers our mission to provide quality online education and supports BDI's efforts to better serve the healthcare industry,” said Douglas Dell, director, global customer services for Philips Medical Systems.
