Dräger showcased its wide range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) solutions for appropriate use in hospitals during the pandemic when in contact with patients. More...
This included Dräger X-plore Masks which make breathing easy and comfortable. Its CoolSAFE filter material ideally combines low breathing resistance and high filter performance in one mask. Draeger Xplore Masks are EN protection classes FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 in accordance with EN 149:2001 and NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health) approved. Draeger select Xplore Masks are tested for Fluid resistant (Synthetic Blood Penetration Resistance) according to ASTM F1862. Air purifying respirators (PAPR) are important to protect the respiratory system against harmful particles and/or gases and vapors. On display was the Dräger X-plore 8000 PAPR which offers a new level of intuitive handling combined with intelligent electronics that provide the high degree of safety.

To ensure patient safety in the operating room, Dräger offers state-of-the-art ventilation technology. In the area of neonatal ventilation, Dräger highlighted its Babylog VN800 ventilator that comes with a new user interface and design which makes operation easier and more efficient. The neonatal ventilator supports lung and brain protective ventilation modes throughout the whole respiratory cycle and can be easily integrated in a developmental care friendly workplace. The company also demonstrated its Evita V800 ventilator which combines high performance ventilation with an aesthetic design enabling quick and efficient operation, alongside the Dräger PulmoVista 500 vital monitoring system that puts the power of Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to work for hospitals and patients.

Dräger also featured the Atlan range of anesthesia workstations that focus on simplifying work procedures for both clinical staff and biomedical engineers - enabling them to address every challenge with ease. They ensure maximum patient safety and operational ease by providing clinicians with real-time information at the point of need: a simply ingenious way to address patient safety in the operating room
