International Scholarships for Young Surgeons

The American College of Surgeons (Chicago, IL, USA) has announced that International Guest Scholarships are now available to young surgeons from countries other than the United States and Canada who have demonstrated a strong interest in teaching and research. More...
The scholarships, in the amount of US$10,000 each, provide the scholars with an opportunity to visit clinical, teaching, and research facilities in North America, and to attend and participate fully in the educational opportunities and activities of the annual Clinical Congress.

Program requirements and an online application are available at the following website: www.facs.org/dept/fellowship/research.html. Application materials can also be obtained by e-mailing kearly@facs.org. The deadline for receipt of completed applications and all related documents is July 1, 2002.
