Attended by more than 50,000 delegates from around the globe, the 2011 Arab Health Exhibition and Congress (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) is a forum for medical professionals to engage with leading researchers, scholars, and speakers.

Arab Health 2011 will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center (United Arab Emirates) during January 24-27, 2011, and it will feature more than 2,700 exhibitors from 60 countries, including 30 national country pavilions with debut pavilions from Argentina, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, and Singapore. Four new exhibition halls added over 25,000m2 of exhibition space, allowing 1,051 new exhibitors to participate at the show. Visitors can expect to see products and services from a wide range of medical sectors including, medical technology, laboratory equipment, diagnostics, physiotherapy, consumer goods, and commodities for hospitals, information and communication technology in healthcare, surgical products and services, radiology, imaging and diagnostics, cardiology, and much more.

The concomitant Arab Health Congress 2011 will include a total of 18 Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited conferences, covering a broad spectrum of medical specialties and disciplines. The flagship event of Arab Health 2011 congress will be Leaders in Healthcare, where leaders of the global healthcare industry will share their insights on how to improve the relationship between the traditional strategic healthcare parties: the government, the patient, and the physician.

"Leaders in Healthcare will develop strategies for the healthcare reform, bringing together all stakeholders, the government, patients, and physicians,” said Raza Chevel, a senior conference producer. "It will look at specific drivers from global institutions, which are aligned to national healthcare strategy. Regional delegates will be keen to identify compatibility in accelerating these implementation models within their institutions.”

Another highlight of Arab Health 2011 will be the awarding of the Arab Health Innovation and Achievement Awards, which celebrate and reward outstanding institutions and individual achievements in the healthcare profession from the Arab world. A new award presented this year will be the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City Award for excellence in rehabilitation services, created to highlight best practices and showcase success stories from leading contributors in the field of disability and rehabilitation.
