(Tokyo, Japan). Each will own 50% of the shares in the new company, to be called Barco-Toyo Medical Systems Japan Co., Ltd.

Barco has wide experience in providing high-performance display technology for medical applications such as x-ray, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and is a leading supplier of displays for PACS. Toyo Corp. has knowledge of the needs and demands of the Japanese medical original equipment manufacturer (OEM). "Given the strong perspectives, we believe that Japan is a promising market for our modality OEM solutions.”
