LINET Launches New ICU Portfolio at Dubai Medical Trade Show

By HospiMedica International staff writers
Posted on 28 Jan 2019
LINET (Dordrecht, The Netherlands) made its debut presentation of a new concept and new portfolio for the growing concept of One Day Care at Arab Health 2019 in Dubai.

LINET’s Intensive Care solution supports prevention, therapy, and diagnosis during both intensive and critical care. More...
The beds are equipped with a range of sophisticated features that reduce the workload of medical staff while improving patient safety and comfort. The features range from automatic lateral therapy, integrated scales and X-rays to the Mobi-Lift, which supports easy mobilization.

Customers and partners could view LINET’s new concept of Early Mobilization with the Multicare bed, equipped with Virtuoso PRO, a new generation of active mattresses of the highest category. The Mother and Child concept featured the AVE 2 birthing bed and TOM 2, a unique pediatric bed suitable for intensive care. The AVE 2 Birthing Bed allows the parent to experience greater comfort during this crucial life situation and assists the medical staff with their work. The child beds are adapted to the special needs of younger patients, from newborns, small children up to teenagers. The beds offer the child maximum comfort, a completely safe space and try to make the child’s stay in hospital a pleasant one.

The second, growing "half" of this concept, included a trio of newly designed products such as the Sprint 100 stretcher, featuring a new design that allows it to comfortably function like a full hospital bed. LINET also showcased its new Pura chair, which is designed for non-invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, with its various functions making the chair ideal for several hours of patient residence during dialysis or during chemotherapy. The trio was complemented by the Sella multi-functional chair, which finds applications across the spectrum of acute, long-term and home care.

For the first time ever, LINET introduced a comprehensive concept of outpatient care, including one-day surgery, outpatient examination or therapeutic interventions. Using innovative methods, a lot of planned and necessary procedures are currently non-invasive and very tolerable by the human body. The best possible care is provided by professionals using the best equipment in various hospitals and clinics. Patients go home as soon as possible, usually the same day, to recover in their natural environment, a place where they feel comfortable and safe.
